Social Media Marketing Manager Reports To: The President Company Summary We are an educational online and regular classroom institution. We publish our own books and hires teachers all over. We would like to raise $500,000 or more for the purpose of further developing and implementing our projects and programs. Your main responsibility is to use the social media to raise the money. Job Specifications The Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development of our Social Media Marketing Plans. The individual will be responsible for implementing our Social Media Strategy, developing brand awareness, persona, generating inbound traffic, and encouraging product adoption. This role coordinates with the Organization Marketing Strategic Account team, client marketing and PR teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a social media referral network. Job Responsibilities •Conduct Social Media Audits for Client and their online competitors •Provide assistance in completing the Organization Social Media Optimizer •Using online tools, provide additional research when needed to augment the Organization Social Media Optimizer for a client •Work with the Web Site development team to ensure social media tools (for ex. FB connect, Sharing buttons) are present on stand alone web sites and kept up to date •Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities for the Organization Marketing clients. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc. •Manage our presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed •Become an advocate of assigned our Marketing in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate •Manage a Blogger outreach programs where applicable. •Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results •Regularly share feedback and insights gained from social media monitoring with management and the Organization Marketing Executive team, to help us evolve their strategies in a timely fashion •Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications Requirements •Strong project management or organizational skills •In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Digg, Youtube, Twitter, Flickr etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios •Knowledge of blogging ecosystem •Know how to make changes to website •Must know how to connect to PayPal, and other means of payment •Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships •Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary •Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly •Have a good knowledge of principles of SEO •Public relations, Marketing, Sales, Community Management experience, a plus How to Apply Send resume, cover letter and expected type of compensation to the President
